Dr. & Mrs. Mark Flack

"Thank you so much for the great hospitality. We enjoyed our stay with you and your family. We shall be back to see you, one of these days."

Jim & Colleen Yeoman

"Just a note to say thanks again for the great hospitality and the super halibut fishing. My nephew and I had a great time. It was especially important to me that my trip with my nephew be as good as it could be, because it will probably be my last chance to spend time with him. I am losing the battle to cancer and I wanted to enjoy some fishing while I still had the health and strength to do it. The pills helped me get through the days, and ALL of you helped make our time together, a great experience. Unknowingly you all helped a great deal making some lasting memories for my nephew, of his uncle in Alaska. Thank you for truly caring about your fishing and lodging guests and for going to great lengths to make the whole experience a memorable one for everyone. You and your staff do a super job of making people feel at home in your small community."

Yes, all of our boats are equipped with cabin heaters.

How many guests do you take at your lodge at one time?

We take up to 18 guests per week.

What is the minimum number of guests you take?

We take single guests and do not charge a single occupant fee, however, you will be scheduled on a boat with other guests.

Are tips included in the price of the trip?

No. We are happy to provide you with a list of suggested tips upon request. As this is a service industry, the most frequent gratuity is 20% of your total cost divided amongst all staff. It is customary to show your appreciation via cash.

What if I catch too much fish?

The object is to only take what you need. We will keep you informed at dinner each night as to how much you have accrued.

Yes, we except all major credit cards.

Are there bathroom facilities onboard?

Yes, each boat has restroom facilities and hand sanitizer available. This is nothing fancy, but gets the job done.

We have an emergency clinic (w/ambulance services) 7 miles from the lodge as well as a hospital 30 miles away.

Can we rent a car?

Yes! Anchorage is roughly 200 miles from the lodge and a gorgeous drive. Kenai (60 miles from lodge) and Homer (30 miles from lodge) also have rental car services. Our shuttle vans will take you to your fishing excursions, as well as to and from the Homer airport if you do not wish to rent your own vehicle.
